2. Slow Cooker Hamburger Dip Directions
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground turkey (or chicken), onion, and garlic until the meat is browned and the onion is tender. Drain any excess grease.
- Transfer the cooked meat mixture to your slow cooker.
- Add the cubed reduced-fat cream cheese and the can of no-salt-added diced tomatoes and green chilies to the slow cooker.
- Stir in the chili powder, cumin, and paprika. Mix well to combine all the ingredients.
- Cover and cook on LOW for 2-3 hours, stirring occasionally until the cheese is completely melted and the dip is hot throughout.
- Once the cheese is melted and the dip is heated through, stir in the non-fat Greek yogurt until the dip is smooth and creamy.
- Taste and then season with salt and pepper. Adjust the seasoning, if necessary.
- Keep the slow cooker on the WARM setting as you serve to keep it nice and < hot!
