2. Irresistible Rotel Cream Cheese Sausage Balls Directions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese and ground turkey sausage. Mix until the cream cheese is evenly incorporated.
- Add the shredded cheddar cheese and drained Rotel tomatoes to the mixture. Stir well, ensuring the < Rotel is well drained to avoid excess moisture.
- Add the whole wheat flour, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika (if using), black pepper, and salt to the mixture. Stir until everything is fully combined.
- Roll the mixture into small balls, about 1 tablespoon each, and place them on the prepared baking sheet, leaving space between each ball.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, until the sausage balls are golden brown and cooked through.
- Remove from the oven and let cool for 5 minutes before serving.
