2. Slow Cooker Witches Brew Stew Directions
- In a skillet, brown the turkey sausage and extra-lean ground beef. Drain excess fat and transfer to the slow cooker.
- Add diced onions and one packet of reduced-sodium onion soup mix to the slow cooker.
- Add the mushrooms to the slow cooker.
- Place the diced carrots and chopped celery in the slow cooker.
- Add the halved baby potatoes (or additional vegetables) to the mixture. In a bowl, mix the remaining packet of reduced-sodium onion soup mix with the beef broth. Pour this mixture into the slow cooker.
- Add the diced tomatoes and red wine vinegar to the slow cooker. Stir all the in< gredients in the slow cooker to combine.
- Set the slow cooker to low heat and cook for 4-6 hours (or 2-3 hours on high).
